Police say a 62-year-old man was shot and killed around 11:30 a.m. Friday at a Circle K gas station on West Market Street in Akron. Police were seeking a man they consider a suspect. The victim's name had not been released Friday because his family had not been notified.

An auto analyst with JPMorgan says General Motors Corp. is not in danger of an imminent bankruptcy, but will need to raise about $10 billion in cash to weather the downturn in U.S. auto sales.
